Registration of the students admitted after the results of 2022 YKS

Final registration procedures may be done on www.turkiye.gov.tr via e-state on August 29-September 2, 2022.

After the e-registration is done, a copy with barcode should be taken and submitted to the Student Affairs Office before the course enrolment. In addition to the copy with barcode of e-registration form, students should also needed to sent the copy of high school diploma and Student Information Form (https://obs.asbu.edu.tr/oibs/ogrsis/ogr_on_kayit_op.aspx)  to the e-mail address of ASBU Registrar’s Office (oidb@asbu.edu.tr) or ASBU Registrar’s Office/Ulus SB Building, Office G-Z03by post. Students can also take these forms personally to ASBU Registrar’s Office.

In case registration is not done via e-state, the applicants should refer to the Student Affairs Office (ASBU/Ulus SB Building, Office G-Z03) personally on August 31-September 2, 2020 with the following documents.

1. A Pre-registration Student information form to be filled on https://obs.asbu.edu.tr/oibs/ogrsis/ogr_on_kayit_op.aspx 
2. 2020-YKS Placement and Result document (printed)
3. The original of high school diploma or the original temporary graduation certificate (for those whose high school diplomas haven’t been submitted) and 1 photocopy of the temporary graduation certificate
4. Those who haven’t graduated from the high school yet but are entitled for registration should submit a document prescribing the date for graduation.
5. The national ID card and three copies to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office during the registration
6. Residence document (to be obtained on e-state)
7. Document about criminal record status (to be obtained on e-state)
8. New dated document for military service by male applicants born in 1996 and before this year should be taken from the recruiting office (Male applicants born in or after 1996 should sign the document for military service obtained on e-state and submit it to the Registrar’s Office during the registration)
9. 12 photos of 4.5cm x 6 size taken in the last 6 months
10. A bank receipt for the school fee from the ones who are actively enrolled in a second university (School fees on Official Gazette: for 2022/2023 click here)

Temporary registrations of the candidates who have the right to enrol in a higher education program but who cannot graduate from high school institutions and who will take the make-up or single course exam will be made to higher education institutions on the specified dates. If the applicants submit their proof of graduation to the Higher Education Institution by December 31, 2020 their original registration will be made.

WARNINGS 

• Registration cannot be done in case of missing documents
• In case registration is not done via e-state, the applicants should refer to the Student Affairs Office personally on the specified dates. Registration via post is not done. 
• Since the applicants are to submit their High School Diploma to our university, it is suggested that they take a reasonable number of copies of it for themselves.
• Applicants who do not register on the specified dates cannot claim any rights.
•  Our university is authorized to take the necessary legal actions against candidates who register by making false statements.

Northern Cyprus Academic Unit New Registration (YKS 2022)

Candidate students, who gain the right to enroll in ASBU Northern Cyprus Academic Unit with 2020-YKS, will not be able to register via e-state.

Students who gain the right to enroll in ASBU Northern Cyprus Academic Unit programs, should apply Hala Sultan Education Campus, Haspolat Junction, No: 20 Nicosia/Cyprus address between August 31-September 4,2020 personally or power of attorney by notary.

For final registration procedures, students should apply this address with registration documents, bank receipt of registration fee and tuition fee.
